We all hope for that one special horse of our dreams and for the Stricker family that horse is Ziprageous. The first time we laid eyes on him, we knew he was special. He had such an amazing presence, great mind, and incredible natural talent.
In the show pen his talent did not go unnoticed. Ziprageous was reserve at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in the GMC 2yr old Snaffle Bit, followed up by a big win at the AQHA World Show. Ziprageous is the only stallion ever to win the 2 yr old Snaffle Bit at the AQHA World Show by Unanimous Decision in both the Preliminaries and the Finals.
Ziprageous’ next step was into the breeding shed where he has been proving himself as an exceptional Sire ever since.

A staggering 42% of his foals are performers and with only 130 Performance aged foals on the ground they have won some of the most prestigious events in the industry. Most recently would be Rode Rageous, who with Jay Starnes aboard won the 2009 Reichert Equine Sports Med $250,000 Challenge.
